Pixel tape

Adhesive tape has become very trendy, seen everywhere: a calendar from Laboratorium, lace, frames and chains. Anything can be made with a bit of sticky. It is also an interesting medium for graphic design... possibly a new form of wayfinding or poster design, like an advanced sticker.

I am also fascinated by the possiblities of "user experience," and will be exploring it more this week. It adds a whole nother dimension to design; not only are we designing for the user to use the product, we are also designing for the user to be involved in the design of the product... hm? Users are now designers. Does this broaden the definition of design? Make it more intelligent? Trickier? I do not know, but it's rich.
