Tillandsia

I was first introduced to Tillandsia through the amazing little flagship store for 18 Karat, here in Vancouver. Tillandsia, also known as an air plant, does not grow in soil. Instead, it is simply sprayed or dipped in water. Besides easy, they are really beautiful, with a nice texture and gray undertones. I like the small ones that sit in the palm of your hand. or a little dish.

18 Karat has listed Tillandsia as inspiration for their Spring/Summer 2007 Collection, alongside Fossils and Spirals. They really know how to work neutrals. Rich. Lush. Texture.
